Aftercare begins at the clinic after the electrolysis hair removal treatment, when you will ensure that your skin is free of bacteria. But, remember that each treated follicle is now open after treatment, so it is more susceptible to bacteria. So, hygiene and care after this procedure is essential to ensure there are no post-treatment skin complications.

• Avoid touching the treated areas as they may become infected.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before touching the treated area.
• Do not use exfoliation or peels 2-3 days after the treatment.
• Apply sunscreen very carefully to the treated area.
• Do not rub the area with towels or other hard textures.
• For 24 hours after treatment, do not expose yourself to the sun or ultraviolet rays (solar or other sources).
• Avoid exposure to heat sources 24 hours after treatment (hot showers, sauna, sports, etc.).
